Hydropower plants
 San Giovanni Bianco

Introduction
The plant and its outbuildings were built at the beginning of ‘900s to provide the near Val Brembana railroad with electricity. Power plant was acquired by Italcementi in the 1970s-1980s and successively was revamped between 1992 and 1995.

The main equipment at this plant includes:

  • intake structure and its weir
  • open channel
  • powerhouse with turbines, generators and control boards
