 Olmo al Brembo

Introduction
The plant and its outbuildings were built in the 1940s. Powerhouse takes the water from two separate intake structures:

a) Cassiglio dam and its outbuildings:

  • intake structure located on Stabina stream
  • dam located on the Cassiglio valley
  • penstock
  • turbines, generators and control boards


b) intake structure on Brembo river and its outbuildings:

  • weir on the Brembo river
  • open channel
  • turbines, generators and control boards
